The 205 is the width & the 80 is the height (percentage of the width ) so it's still going to look silly :) Standard def tyre size is 235/85/16 so with a 265/75/16 they are wider and keep the same height as original !

Defenders look **** with skinny wheels & tyres, some 235/85 look **** & skinny too but BF'S look ok ! I have 265/75 on mine and am more than happy with the way it stands/looks :)

I would'nt worry about it ! Every Turbo Diesel I have had regardless of make has done this in the turbo intercooler pipes ! I think it's mainly coming from the engine breather as a vapour and then condenses in the intercooler/pipes back into oil !

Same here ! And then would'nt work at all . I ended up taking the hazzzzzzard switch out cleaning all the conections on the back that had oxidised, squirt of WD40 or two and it's been fine ever since :)

Just do it and don't say anything ! I know at least 10 people that have done this conversion and have never had any bother !

Forget it ! You can't register it in France as it's not got it's original engine, the only way round it is to wait until it's 30 years old and then register it as a classic car ! Same applies to all hard tops that have been changed to SW ! The certificate of comformity says exactly what vehicle...

The correct procedure for the correct oil level is with the engine running, oil at correct running temperature and sombody manualy going up and down through the box and the ATF should dribble out of the side plug. Don't stop the engine before you put the plug back in as the box dumps the oil and...
