Oil seals pah i don't think the v8s have any lol I personally would be weary. look for the usual rot and take it for a long test drive to make sure it doesn't overheat!

I have water ingress in my car after much faffing i discovered it was a loose rear quarter window. i'm assuming the bonding agent has given up the ghost lol it moves in and out when you push it, found the issue when washing the car lol.

Excessive slack in the drive train "endfloat" most likely caused by warn Uj's or excessive wear in the Transmission transfer case or diffs :rolleyes: I would check the backlash in the prop I:E how much movement there is before the components mesh

yeh it was an option for very early 4.0s

pulled a tailer with a 1993 ford transit on it around 2.5 tonne she pulled it well... :D redlined her in 2nd up a 30% gradient, manual option on an auto is a great thing lol
