Ah i had height issues with all LR's but it was worth it, now i look back i can't see how i did it.. 6"8 43" inseam. Back is killer now, so can't squeeze in 'em anymore!! :( Knees are also agony so no more manuals for me :( There are downsides to being tall :rolleyes: Wish i was 6"0 :)...

Yes i still can't believe i had forgotten!! And yes the S type is a lovely drive! The old XJ40s are also a nice smooth drive.

Don't do it.. Buy a shyte heap to run around in and put the P38 on a classic car policy for peanuts and drive it on weekends or when you feel like driving a proper car.. ;)

What MPG are we seeing from our V8's and diesels. According to my Trip the best was 26mpg and that was motorway with cruise control set at 65. I've brimmed to brimmed several times and it seems the Trip is accurate, atleast on mine The worst was 15mpg..

No with that mileage, you'd be crazy to offer over £700.

From a brim to brim i get 22.1 mpg average out of my V8 which is quite surprising tbh. My old diesel classic used to get 25-28 so i'm quite happy with my V8 ;)

I'm 6"8 and yes it was very tight in my RRC, but i certainly wasn't too uncomfortable.. Try reclining the seat further.

13-16 mpg is what i got with RRC it had that engine, I think LPG is slightly worse.

Neither.. I'd have a nice Hard dash 3.9 Vogue Se RRC. They don't have the nightmare electrics of the L322 and P38 plus the styling is spot on! I found the L322 rather uncomfortable the seats were much too firm and i didn't fit in it! The P38 is a good car but you have to be spanner...

The RRC was the real deal. The P38 was the real deal plus loads of issues. The l322 was a pimp mobile with even more issues. The evoque is a wa'nkpit. The evoque convertible is a worthless piece of shyte. And the convertible RR's above are just an insult. Fukin horrible.

I bet its a ****in nightmare on one of these bling mobiles. I've pulled my fare share of RRC engines. But being the overcomplicated ****heap the L322 is, i doubt you would exit the job with your sanity intact. :eek::D
