It's not the price of the Britpart one - it's just that it's Britpart! There's a re-built gearbox on the other end of the pipes - but £300 :eek: As you say it's got no moving parts and I suppose I could pressure test it before fitting. In these days when you honestly don't know which factory...

2000 DSE automatic I want to change my weeping gearbox cooler pipes and would like to go the whole way and replace the cooler. However I've checked all the usual suppliers and only Island show a make - and that's Britpart :eek: I know that I can get the pipes made up so that's not an issue but...

A static pressure tester is simply a replacement cap with a pump. You pump up some air pressure into the system and see if it holds. If the pressure drops it's escaping somewhere. Then all you've got to do is find the leak. :eek: If there's no obvious leak then you suspect that it's inside the...

This was on RangeRover.net a while back. He got into a side marker light "a circular orange light on the fender", fed power in through the cabling to the light and got the car to respond to the key.

The one I took off mine had a couple of strips like meccano that fitted onto the slam panel bolts. Are there any signs of anything missing from the back of the top of yours?

if you mean the original ones that fit into the roof, you'll have to be very lucky to find a decent second hand set for less than about £150 / £200. Don't know if you can get an aftermarket set that fits the sockets.

If they're the original ones you can buy a new key, they're lettered. or - You can buy a generic removal tool, not too expensive. or - most tyre fitters carry a set of removal tools or - you can just smash a slightly smaller socket on or - you could weld a nut on them and get them off with a socket
