or - most tyre fitters carry a set of removal tools
or - you can just smash a slightly smaller socket on
or - you could weld a nut on them and get them off with a socket

Agreed, everything on mine is Tq'd to the correct value, 35 years as an aircraft engineer has got that ingrained!but still torqued:rolly:

I'd see if you can get a nut splitter tool to work (providing you're willing to sacrifice the nut)

how are yu going to get that in there?
That's a good idea will have a look, yeh don't care about the nut it's useless with a dud key!
Might not work but I'll have a look on the off chance!

It wouldn't work with alloys, but on the steel wheels fitted atm there might be the room.
Righty tighty, lefty loosy - looking at the picture and the way the pins have bent it looks like you were tightening them rather than loosening, or is it an optical illusion?
does look like they've bent the wrong way, I was swapping wheels over to change a puncture so could have bent when tightening after to be honest.
