    Tired paintwork

I used three different products. The best combination was G3 Scratch Remover and G3 Resin Polish. I didn't get on with the orbital polisher, it didn't reach into corners so I did it by hand. Unfortunately the dents and corrosion didn't polish out, nevermind.

    Tired paintwork

My Defender hardtop is Coniston green and the paintwork is dull, particularly the front wings and bonnet. I have an orbital sander that I can fit polishing pads to but what is the best polishing compound and polish? I immediately thought of T-cut but is that the best? Also which polish would...

    "Sound proofing"

You won't keep the water out. First thing I did on my Defender was strip all the mats and soundproofing out. I can see the water and mop it up. I can also spray the seams/joints with WD40.

    "Sound proofing"

If you want to find leaks, take your Land Rover to a car wash. Sticking stuff over the floor is asking for trouble. It will trap water where it can't be seen. If you want a quiet car buy a BMW.

Turboman, I don't mind the engine noise, rattles, bangs etc. It's better than Radio 4 and conversation is impossible. I couldn't ask for more :-)

    Soundproofing and undersealing

Yes, it was a nationwide undersealing company that do both Waxoyl and Dinitrol. I don't think the air pressure is a problem, it's the wand containing the jet that creates the focused blast of air to cut through the crap that might be tricky to find. Took 5 hours to clean and 2-3 hours to treat...

    Soundproofing and undersealing

Blasting water inside the chassis is probably not the best approach, it would takes ages to dry out. When I had mine done the guy used an extremely high pressure air gun with a needle jet. I thought the chassis was clean until I saw the mountain of crap that came off it. Then used Dinitrol...

    Water getting into fuse box

The vents in the bulkhead are a prime source of leaks to the fuse box. Open the vents wide and check the foam seal, it's probably torn or missing. Get some new seals and glue them to the bulkhead, not the vent. Cover your fuse panel in an inverted plastic bag.
