    Do you put the rubber on first, or put the rubber inside the metal, then put it on? Do you slide it on, or push it on? The biggest worry is the glass breaking.

    Well the glass is out, but it's nigh on impossible to get the rubber and the lift channel thingy onto the edge of the glass. We've tried it just putting the rubber on, then the metal. Then the rubber and metal combined. Anyone got any suggestions? Ta

    It's part 3 that he's fitting,unfortunately,I think he will have to take off the panel. It's an old Land Rover so it could get messy.

    I think it's called a winder channel.     The bottom channel has rotted on this, does the whole panel and other channels need to be removed to fix it? the other half is trying to push it on whilst the window is in situ. Thanks for replies.
