Whilst it may sound like a blessing, its actually a big pain in the arse esp when it comes to insurance and MOT etc. The speedo works fine on my disco series 1, however my mileage and trip mileage wont rotate anymore and is stuck on 159999 (almost as if it couldn't quite manage to roll over to...

Hi, Been searching the various ABS related posts on here, and yes my light is pretty much always on. However, more worryingly, after employing full lock my brakes dont work. Read somewhere about it being the system thinking ABS was locked. I may have a dodgy CV as well as it grinds a little...

Sounds like its under (or on) the boot floor. It sounds more perfectly round and heavier than a stone, more like a bearing. Its ALWAYs in the same place too.

No, its less random and sounds heavier, never bounces. Its like its on rails or in a tube

It certainly sounds floor level. I will entertain that theory tho when im next it it, as that does make some sense. Its quite a long roll, like its traveling the entire boot length, I cant imagine any space long enough in there for that.
