After 18 months sitting outside my workshop and a need to tow a trailer this friday i finally got my disco in the workshop for some much needed TLC :D. Got it on a ramp saturday sump off (been leaking for ages :o) had rusted through on front edge, and that was all i had time for as customer...

We've got 2 snap on battery guns (non lithium type) and there brilliant but still need air guns when the battery ones can't manage something, theres always the option of winding up the air pressure, and one of the biggest improvements was getting bigger bore air lines, we went from 1/4 to 3/8...

Very true, they just made you look twice Yep cos you didn't want to be pulling out in font of one with the big bumpers :D And these modern LED DLR's that dim when the indicators are used are fecking anoying anorl and wot's wiv the lights that come on when you turn the steering wheel FFS i keep...

LOL he didn't even have it skimmed properly what makes you think he would spend the money having it pressure tested.

Well we've just change all the U/J's on my sons 300 disco and the front prop will only go back together one way, it has a spline missing in the prop shaft?

They weren't side lights they were day running lights and the front one's were 21w not 5w as side lights are. Its funny how Volvo's were ridiculed for having DLR's but now most if not all cars have them. ;)

LOL i did that once 3 series BMW :D made my day, i swear she did it in purpose, if it had been a 4 door ide probably have missed it but it was a 2 door :D bent it completely round flat with wing, transit with bull bars 1 BMW 0, and her insurance pad to have the side of my van repaired :5bsmilielol5:

It'll only go in one way won't it?? Can any one tell me why the ends don't line up? i was always taught that theres a certain way the U/J should line up and have always made sure they do but disco front U/J don't does any one know why??

Theres a major design fault with a lot of cars that have DLR's (especially fiestas) when you start the engine the dash illuminates and the DLR's come on because the dash is illuminated drivers forget to turn there lights on when it gets dark.

Was it sluggish before you changed the lift pump?? what condition is the lobe it runs off of??

Fuel filter would be my first thought, why did you change you lift pump??

Could also be the turbo :( if it is blueish smoke
