My 10pence is lift pump but as others have said filter and pipes first. When you change the filter you'll know if the lift pump is any good if it primes the new filter or not.

Get an hacksaw blade in the hole cut through the sleeve then knock out with a punch of some sort. Clean up the hole and refit the two halves you have with the insert to finish it off. @Paul D did a great video a few years ago that's what I used when I first did mine. I think the second time...

You've brought poly bushes, there should be a metal insert for them. Clean the arms up inside the holes first with a wire brush

If it runs fine I'd leave it. You could remove the diff and inspect if if it worries you but I wouldn't replace without inspection first.

Found some early 110 hubs with shafts for 20 pound each from a local breaker, picked up some ashcroft front HD shafts today and they fit straight into the cvs thankfully.

Are 200tdi disco hubs the same as the early 90 ones?

Not that I'm aware. It's a 1989 90 originally a 19j I think it's an earth fault or something daft that's making a random relay click just makes the problem 10x annoying

I've just googled the parts diagram and it's the seal in the back of the swivel ball I removed. It was my understanding oil then travels down past the shaft in the stub axle and into the bearings and swivels the seal on the back of the hub and the cap then hold it in. Seems to me like they tool...

On my disco 300tdi I removed the seal in the end of the hub. I think from memory it sits in the back of the stub axle, this should allow Ep90 to lube the bearings and swivels (I think).

Hoping so, the part number I have is Erc5923 which lists as 300tdi but I'll also ask at Paddocks when I'm there. Yes all looked fine. It was the first time I'd ever stipped an engine down I'll change the oil housing thermostat and if it continues I will get a tester brought.

10 40 the oil but u have also tried 20 50. How would I check the pressure at the switch hole. Could the wiring be causing it give a false reading

I had other issues with the old engine. Mainly the piston rings blowing past as it was really worn but Yeh I guess changing the truck might fix it. Not that I'm aware. Sits ticking over lovely just flickers when warm. Electrical pressure gauge a cheap one to be fair on eBay, new pressure...
