Freelander 1.8 52 plate 4 wheel drive not working...i think

A low speed handbrake on gravel won't damage the drive train. If the prop is connected all will happen is the whole vehicle will slow due to the drive overpowering the braking force. If the prop isn't connected the rear wheels will lock..... If you think that a little braking on the rear wheels...

K-series, keeps eating the cam belt.. Advice please?

The only possible reason is a pulley isn't sitting straight. Would usually be the tensioner or water pump. But it could possibly be a problem with the cam pulleys not sitting squarely on the cams. Very difficult to tell what's really going on without actually seeing it in person. I would be...

New clutch but still won't work :(

Thinking of buying a Freelander in the new year.

I am 6'3 or 4 depending on time of day......! I am long legged, I found the seat coulda done with another notch when I first got it but now I am happy with it, even long trips (Norfolk to scotland). I actually find I am sitting further forwards in all cars now! The later facelift seats are...

    1.8 none starting

Plug leads round the right way? Check for spark... Pull the plugs-are they wet? Too wet? Won't start if flooded. Do a compression test. Check the basics, like you would on an old engine..... Then look at the electronics if a code reader isn't giving any problem codes then maybe there is...

It is about as accurate! Although when I got my first car I used a haynes to do the piston rings. With no previous experience and a really cheap set of spanners. It was a mini though!
