That's good of ya Hippo. Warmed the place up a treat, just make sure them pigsies don't em selfs too close, although I do like a bit of pork crackling!
The freelander is sensitive to having a matched set of 4 tyres. If you have to replace a tyre you must at the very least replace a pair and put the new ones on the rear. Otherwise your nice new drivetrain components will head south again!
I was looking for your tyre size DD to compare.... But you have saved me the trouble!
I had a set of 265/75 r 15 wheels and tyres next to mine...... They looked mahoosive and very unlikely to fit! Shame though cuz it woulda looked Awesome!
Is tit smoke or steam? You may have a lot of water int he exhaust from having a blown hg previously.
You need to be sure of what you are dealing with cause one is bad the other is no issue!
Yeah grumpy - that is default late registered one. Even without the vin the Amber inserts in the headlights and the Amber side repeaters and the front bumper with seperate grill top bar gives its age away!
Yes hippo he was ok - a little bruised and stiff, but you couldn't say the same about the scooter. The only bit undamaged was the luggage compartment door that had a picture of The Jam on it in red white an blue!
Good effort. Just remember the stresses imposed on seats is very high so make sure it's a pukka job. It's not worth risking your own or passengers lives if you had a crash and the seat gave way...,
My 2p..........
Rover 200/400 seats sit about 3 or 4 inches lower to start with. I don't know if the bolting layout is the same but I doubt that it would be.
Afaik the seat mounts didn't change during the fl1 production run.
