    If you follow the harness from the switch it goes over the top of the back of gearbox. There is a metal "P" clip bolted to the top of the box to hold the harness in place and it doesn't appear to have had any padding so the metal edge can rubb eventually chaffing and shorting the wiring. Mine...

    I rarely notice the elements in my D2's screen but in winter they do clear the screen of ice very quickly. But the 18 plate Transit we have at work I find the elements quite annoying when it's overcast or misty and they become quite noticeable against a light background.

    Found them very handy when my air con compressor decided to leak. I had previously sealed the frames to the body, fixed the plastic drains and put genuine seals in and they do not leak. :eek:

    I had that for a short while. Cured by ditching the new aux belt I'd just put on (think it was a Dayco) and putting the recommended Contitech one on instead, it's got better grippy bits on the outer edge for driving the PAS pump.

    The pulley on the front of the crank has a rubber centre which can fail. Is that wobbling?

    Cannot say I've really noticed that. Love having it when popping up to Dundee to visit daughter. Get on the M6, set the speed at 70 indicated which works out at 68/69 on the TomTom and relax. Knock it off on the steering wheel control at any junctions or busier sections and just resume after...
