    Making room for Fatbeard (me)

Oay, I got in the front of a Defender and as my centre of gravity has lowered over the years I have to ask, Is it possible to move the steering wheel away from the drivers side window? Is it possible to move the handbrake to the left? And finally if I remove the centre cubby can I move the seat...

Disco 2 Chipped TD5 vs. new MoT rules

Easy, fill em with redex and drive it like a hire car for the half hour before the test. Thrash it like a stereotypical Eton schoolmaster.

    Dash cam discounts

Oddly enough, one of the recommended best dash cams is a yi 2.7 inch 1080p which sells for under 40 quid. Which insurance companies give you discounts ither than AF. (For AF I'd like to know the criteria for their list of approved cams, as a couple on that list are near obsolete) and do these...

Bull bars were banned on new vehicles in 2007. The wrap around type. Steel ones that is, not the padded protected type

Disco 2 Facelift bumper too low

Garage attempted to fit the td5 bull bar that I got off ebay. No chance of it fitting without building custom crush cans, new bumper mounts, and cutting the bull bar as well as the bumper. However, on putting the bumper back on, there is now a gap between the bottom of the lower headlight trim...

Disco 2 How does a winch bumper attach

That's exactly what I'm trying to avoid, so am trying to work out how to attach the bull bar to the chassis if it's possible as I've seen rings on the front of aftermarket winch bumpers, and the bullbar is through the bumper bolted so was wondering how these are mounted, or are the tow rings...

Disco 2 How does a winch bumper attach

Hi all, trying to work out what part of the chassis and how a winch bumper attaches, got an idea about towing eyes attached to a bullbar or rather through a bull bar, but don't know what part of the front of the d2 is strong enough to take it.

Can anyone identify the part number?

Okay, so how would a winch bumper fit to them, is there a separate chassis mount?

Can anyone identify the part number?

Second part of question is the bumper mounting plate strong enough to take towing eyes? Thinking about bolting towing eyes through the bull bar mounting holes
