    D2 Bonnet hot spots

Chasing down a coolant loss in the system of my D2 TD5 (surprise surprise)! The reason I ask about warm spots is I notice the area above my over flow tank always clears any condensation really quickly, whilst the rest of the bonnet stays covered in condensation got some time. Does this happen...

    Dorset newbie

Oh and a bit of fun up on the ramps. This was for all the trans fluid changes. I'm sure our lift and the landrover will become best friends!

    Hi from Blackpool

Hello and good luck. I don't think it's just what every other p38 owner is asking, but what every LR owner is asking! It's all good fun getting your hands mucky on a car

    Three Amigo's

That grinding sound will be the ABS kicking in, it's a weird sound! I think all Discos like to prove a challenge, my D2 burst a rear brake line after 9 hours of ownership! I have found preventive maintenance key with the disco. If you ever see my disco, just look under it and you will find me there

Freelander 2 high speed judders/hiccups please help!!!

Also have seen something similar on an auto Audi, some speed sensor or sensor in the rear of the car made adjustments to the gearbox, thus making a blip adjustment to the engine. Too many electronics in the cars these days!

Freelander 2 high speed judders/hiccups please help!!!

Have you looked at the maf sensor? When they are playing up they can throw a spanner into the works momentarily when the engine is running.

    D2 Facelift Headlights stolen too.

Well I had always fancied fitting FL lights to my D2, but think I will give it a miss seeing how easy they are stolen! Plus I wouldn't wish to line the pockets of a thief (eBay seller or LR dealer!)

    I Need Help

I did see someone sticking a D2 body on a D1 chassis, will have to see how they got on as I expect that's a lot cheaper than buying a galvanised D2 chassis! And that's also why I will get a D1 so I can use it off road and not worry about the chassis

    Who's in 'Ampshire then?

Hi, I'm on the Hampshire / Dorset border, switching between Bournemouth & alderholt. I spend a lot of time in Hampshire and other places wild camping, so I can often be found over your way :)

    I Need Help

Sounds like a good bit of fun, im tempted to get a disco 1, so I can choose between a rusty body, or a rusty chassis! Would make he D1 the off-road fun, and the D2 would be my daily

    High lift jack

It might dig in a bit I agree! I think if I did get a high lift it would only be for winching / recovery purposes, and even then I would much prefer sticking a tow rope on before using a high lift. I don't think I would ever plan to go out solo either so still probably wouldn't use one

Hi, what's the PCD of the wheels please? Are the for the defender / disco 1 or the disco 2 (what I'm after) Cheers

    High lift jack

I was tempted to get one, but then came across all the issues, both with mounting it and using it, and I don't think I will bother to be honest, I will Probably just stick with the bottle jack and get some decent axle stands
