Well I've booked it in and got s date for the repair .. not while the 25th and 26th of this month ( so still time to change garages if needed lol) He's putting a new rear leg and cross member section on Repairing further parts of the chassis as he goes along towards the front And finishing...

5ha ks mate would appreciate it if you could give me the details .. no harm in getting a few quotes :) Just waiting till my local specialist opens at 9 today to see what he says .. Can I ask everyone's opinions on whether the discos are worth the repair cost to them ? I like the car personally :)

Oh dear lol ill give the local landrover specialist up and see what he says ( not landrover their self!) If not there may be a td5 breaking for spares by the end of the week lol!!

Evening guys ... right I'm struggling as to how or whom I can get informations as to wether my rear chassis will be okay to tow a caravan around 1400kg Basically I've just bought a caravan and I'm due to pick it up at the weekend ... how do I know whether my chassis is safe or not ?? It's gone...

Brilliant just had a look on tinted Web and bearmach seal for it in fleaby £4! Is there anything I should be looking out for as I'm taking it to bits as I'm doing it now as we speak .. just wondered if there was any shortcuts around it without stripping all the hub off etc ? Really appreciate...

Hi again guys ... well I've got rid of my freelander and upgraded to a 2001 disco td5 Can anyone shed any light into this oil leak I've found near my wheel ? I've took the wheel off to change it and noticed that all inside the wheel was covered with oil !! Never had a car that's done this...

I'm all disconnected e ept from the two pipe unions .. its been pretty straight forward up until the last two connectors to take the two pipes off the rack .. I've undone the bolts slightly but they won't turn separately to the metal pipe that goes through them (I'm guessing that's how they come...

Morning guys about to attempt a full steering rack change in my freebie .. I'm going to be using the haynes manual and rave but just wondered of there's any pointers from anyone who's done t before ? I'm changing because it's got a really loud real and bang when turning left and right all bolts...
