I used the redundant rear ashtray... There is a usb and lighter (and switch), easy wiring to the fusebox, direct to supply (with in line fuse) so that its on when ignition is off.

Finally got round to seeing to my intermittently leaky old injector pump.Replaced (most of) the seals and , touch wood, its looking good.:) Biketeacherdave's 'how too' was a great help - and its true what he says ' its easier than you think'. Thanks Dave.;) Seems to be running better than ever...

Thanks. I'll go and have a closer look and suss things out a little better, and check the fuse box etc.

Yup - its all the warning lamps on constantly. :eek: So what's the bad news?

'Evening all, I'm usually over on the RR forum, but would appreciate some help from knowledgeable Disco peeps please. We had a 1998 TD5 until the chassis started to look like lace curtains and it failed its MOT. Passed it on to a farmer friend who has been using it (hard!) for a few years now...

I always listen to Wammers... and Alan too :) I did put a big lever on the wheel but couldn't feel any wobble at all. And the sensor was definitely fecked according to the meter readings... Thanks Marty, that describes it exactly!

Only 5 hours! Hit a deep pothole a couple of weeks ago, beeps and ABS and TC lights came on. Seemed to clear next time I started up only to recur whenever I hit the slightest bump. Then stayed on all the time. After testing with a meter thought it must be the sensor. 'Prise out the sensor and...

Yeah but at least you've done your injector pump!:) Fitted all Beru glow plugs. What a difference, starts on the button! Two more of the NGKs had failed.
