    300tdi clutch problem

Surely if you push the clutch pedal with the slave cylinder not bolted into the bell housing,it will push the piston out,& thus drop all the fluid?

    300tdi clutch problem

So,the saga continues............... I stripped the gearbox out again,I think the clutch fork had slipped out of position the first time I put it back together, which meant that the slave rod did'nt locate properly in the little recess. I think this caused the slave piston to push right out &...

    Changing 90 clutch

It's quite a straight forward job realy, just labour intensive. You will need a decent tool kit,& some method of lifting the gearbox/transfer box out & back in again.Either an engine crane,or I use a block & tackle suspended on 2 steel tressels & steel accrow prop. Take out the pannel under the...

    300tdi clutch problem

After spending the last 2 days replacing the seal at the rear of the flywheel,I finaly got everything back together, tried the clutch & the pedal went straight to the floor.I looked underneath, there was clutch fluid leaking out of the wading plug hole in the bell housing. I took out the slave...

HELP!!! Replacing indicators with LEDs has somehow buggered all the lights...

I had exactly the same problem with the Wipac LED's. I conected them up with the conectors as supplied,& various lights did'nt work,it seems the wires were the wrong way round on the LED's,just cut off the connectors & rewire them the oposite way and all worked as they should. Best of luck. Marc

So me thinks, thermostat is Fubared,so I took it out.All good, once warmed up gauge reads normal. I have run it...
