    ah ok, its broken. the seller has told me its broken and needs a new key.

    i dont know, if i get the dealer key and there are coding issues then will i need to get a whole new lock set with the becm and the key for that car or will the dealer key work, but just learn the becm and new codes etc and i wont need to change locks and barrel etc? im getting confused now

    hmmm, there is definitely a lot of food for thought, tough decision here, dealers or get the becm, keys, locks and vin with it.

    ah right so if you were to change the BECM With ecu , keys , locks & security code that would eliminate that issue then?

    cool thanks Tomcat59alan, Im having a look now, i know nothing about this car except i once changed an air bag on a 2.5 a few year ago. thanks for the direction.. ill give a shout if i get stuck

    hello lads, im new on here and im hoping you can help me out please I dont own a Range Rover..yet im looking to buy a P38A that has an issue with the key. it needs a new one.. if you need more info on the model its a 4.6 HSE (i did read the give us more info bit) got my price from land rover...
