just to add a little the LT 75 was fitted in rover sd one minus the transfer case apparently these gearboxes are fitted with a high ratio 5 th gear . i wonder if the transfer case will fit the car version of this box or is the output shaft different .... any thoughts

thats a bloody conumdrum and a half . try starting from cold and see if water is circulating it shouldnt until it gets up to temp as to what might cause this id guess at it bypassing the stat somehow , will it warm up anymore with the heater turned to cold ..????

It's fine when it's cold but when it's hot it's nowhere near the same power and it takes a few turns before it starts .it's a different head as the old one cracked and it's never been same since once it's hot also when it's hot and you turn it by hand you can hear the valves hiss as they leak .
