With the new mounting bracket it should be fine I think the one I removed was the original factory one
Plus I will keep putting a few drops of oil on the release lever to keep it free
Slave cylinder kit fitted this morning the clutch arm took a bit off freeing up but seems fine now
All working perfect now I think it's a flimsy set up for a clutch but will see how it goes
Today big thanks to NODGE for the advice
Too many shady people about these days
But we all make mistakes
When I bought my freelander all the warning lights had been covered with black foam because they were all on
Finally got round to removing the broken slave cylinder today
After removing said part it's damage was cause by failing on 2 parts
The clutch arm was very stiff and the lungs on the slave cylinder bracket had snapped off
I've managed too free up the clutch arm with a mixture of engine oil and...
On Monday I accidentally put about 9 pence worth of petrol in my diesel pajero
It hasn't caused any problems but was told to drain fuel and change both diesel filter and filter in the tank
Apparently it's more of a problem if you put diesel in a petrol engine
The slave cylinder went on my car yesterday I was just wondering if anyone can give me some info on replacement I've bought the full kit
New bracket and c clip
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated
