My 2 centre ones are torx bolts so I will bite the bullet and buy a set of female sockets

My noise seems to be coming from the centre if I'm sat in the car with engine off so thought a complete set of arms and track rods would be easier to do

I'm still getting a knocking noise when I turn the wheel so instead of changing track rod ends I may aswell change the complete arms

Does anyone know the torx bolt size for the steering arms Save me buying a full set

As nodge68 said you cant do anything with it I put a new kit on mine last week but after a couple of days it was leaking at the pedal end Was told by the supplier the seals were faulty and received a new replacement system

Do these mirror,s fit strait on the freelander 1 ?? I may invest in one we have a good Landrover/rover breakers in bradford

Just fitted the 2nd replacement slave / master cylinder the one I fitted last week was leaking at the pedal end must be a internal fault on seals so replaced for free Also the clutch arm is very free now I used a concoction of engine oil , wd40, and plus gas :D:D

The rubber boots always seem to rot so this time I've coated them with greace hopefully it will help

They don,t last no matter what make they are ( bad design apparently) but I had a year out of the last pair

New front anti roll bar drop links fitted today quick and easy job :):)

Been on to lr trade parts uk there going to send a replacement:):)

No Bute I've traced it to the clutch it's leaking from the part that connects to the pedal So I've cleaned it and I will check again later Then contact shop were I bought it if it still leaks

2002 1.8Freelander 1 79k miles Land rover exchange engine fitted at 35k

Just noticed some fluid in the driver's side footwell but I can't see were it's come from The car has had a new clutch slave / master cylinder fitted but I can't check the fluid level Not sure if it's the brake servo any idea anyone the brakes and clutch are working fine

Been looking for a head liner mine is sagging all over It just shows the car up

I'm at the moment looking for a donor car to use for parts it saves a lot of cash if you have space
