Looking through the wiring diagrams the screened alternator is 45 amperage Assuming a Xmod modification. But lasted over thirty years? I took iapart the original screened & only way for those bolts to be installed is when the unit was built!

I have always thought the standard springs on these trucks/tractor are of good quality I clean & paint them trying to keep clean the markings. & use good shocks.

Okay I tried the key & yes since this truck is civilian model it does have a steering lock needs key. other truck 90 Xmod has no such things as steering lock. At some point the dash will be apart & will see what that looks like. thnx.

Yes there is that best left alone. Looks like I should be able to wire as per other truck 110 but to be sure will wait for a diagram

You mean that thing with the key? Had not thought of that, I will need to get battery from other truck test it out.

With the steering arm unattached the steering wheel will not move, besides a little each way then comes to hard stop. Worked when I drove into shed some years ago none of which was touched.

This alternator is same as on 110 PU slight difference in wiring tho. Will have to wait for supplier to verify next week. The cover screen supplies some protection? As it was mod.

Having said it has taken a while as in years unlikely Paddocks would take something back several years later! These were in a Bearmach box as I did not specify. They did fail during install I assume fault there.

after getting the wrong blinker lights, washer wiper switches I got the correct switches for 90-87 model. Thinking they were all the same I ordered from fiche of earlier 110. But with switches installed there is a mechanism in the center (blue) that needs to be with arrow towards blinker switch...
