My dad used to have a 3 series m sport Beemer, they're the worst car I've ever seen in the snow. More than half an inch of snow and you could forget it.

Is that with everything declared? I've found bell/admiral to be good in the past for a young driver. Last time I was with them they fitted a box, I still drove like I normally do and never logged on to see my results but it brought the premium down loads just by having it fitted.

If it is your inspection plate you can do it on your drive. Failing that it's probably a transfer box out job, probably about 3 hours minimum. Have you tried taking it to a garage and just asking for a diagnosis? Usually free and at least you know what it is then before chasing a leak around...

Quite right diff. If hooved animals can do that to their own land, God knows what they would do to green lanes. Ban everything with hooves!

I used to be insured through Admiral and they stated that green laning wasn't covered on my policy. I've crashed a vehicle into a piece of street furniture when I was younger, although it wasn't deliberate, how could they prove it was? They would still have to cover me for it wouldn't they...

Some companies refuse to cover you if you're on a green lane, however some companies do stipulate that you are covered for green lanes. In what way does in not exist?

Might be a stupid/obvious question. Are the width and height from the rain gutter to the top of the roof the same for disco 1 and 2? I'm looking at a roof rack on eBay and want to make sure it will fit. Cheers Jon
