Oil Breather/cyclone - is there a better solution?

£150?! Jeez...do they ever sell any I wonder?

Oil Breather/cyclone - is there a better solution?

I couldn't find a definitive answer on the search. Having found all the affected engine hoses gunked up with oil deposits, I don't really want to go with the same system. Allisport do a similar breather...

    Aaron's 90 rebuild round 4

Surely brown bread is best?! A nice slice of granary toasted underneath that cheese, gives more body to it and your doc would then slightly approve...but only slightly.

So, the Defender's gone away for undersealing....

Just need to check the next steps

Research will probably show that people with bad head injuries end up restoring Land Rovers and that it's one of the cruel side-effects of not knowing any better!

Just need to check the next steps

Oh god, I'll give you one guess who that someone was. Durr...I did say my memory's crap didn't I?! Thank you, again.

Just need to check the next steps

My rebuild has been somewhat long and drawn out and painfully slow when I read of Aaron's exploits! The stripdown went quickly, too quickly to take enough photos but I'm sure I'm not the only one guilty of that. Being as it was such a long time ago (I'm talking 2 1/2 years ago) and my memory...

A couple of hours of door fab

Nice job and lucky to have a place that will let you do that after hours. What did you use to make the lower hinge holes (that isn't the opportunity for someone to chime in with "a drill!"). I just wondered if you put tubing all the way through or something?

    Stoplock pro V Stoplock 4x4

My rebuild is costing me a lot, not only in terms of money but in time and a huge amount of effort. That's why a big part of the spend is going to go on security. Disclock (I have one on every car), pedal lock, ignition barrel lock, alarm, tracker and probably those tree slider things that slide...

    Wiring from gearbox/transfer box?

    Door Striker Shroud

My 1985 90 didn't have any of these fitted when I steipped it down: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=land+rover+muc4202&rlz=1C9BKJA_enGB643GB643&hl=en-GB&biw=1024&bih=653&prmd=ismvn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj1tsnm253MAhXhK8AKHaXNDoMQ_AUIBigB#imgrc=9j8IymKdeLfl3M%3A Should it have...

    300tdi into a 90: Airbox & snorkel question

Just breathing life back into this thread. I haven't got as far as sorting the snorkel yet but, for those of you out there that have a Disco 300tdi engine in an early 90, which side did you fit the snorkel? With this engine in, there is no space between the rear of the engine and the bulkhead...

Sill Channel to Tub - how to fix?

Thank you for the above. I identified it from the same source as that. Don't know what I'd do without those exploded views!
