Hi Guys thanks for the help and info... does anyone know what is the difference between M2c33 and Dex 2/3 oil. Just for my own interest

It was late writing the post... yep filled the transfer box with ep90 but the Haynes manual noted grade M2C33 ATF oils for the main gearbox. Can I use ATF Dexron 2 instead???

Hi, Need a little help on gear box oil please, can I use Dexrox 2 oil that I use for the transfer box in the main gearbox? The manual says use ATF oil to M2C33 but can’t find this nor dose Halford sell it Any help would be great.

Yep its the FRC8292 i am trying to install into the case groove.. just to big (the o ring).

Hi, The replacement o ring that goes into the case for the intermediate shaft i can't get it in as its just to big. I have checked the Ref No and its the correct new o ring i have. Any help on this... do you some how shrink it to get it in?

Hi, Taking off the handbrake housing from the transfer case i see there is a gasket behind it... its not in the RTC3890 gasket kit. Would anyone know the part number for this gasket please? (Photo attached) - Tans Box is LT230 T (22D type)

Hi, Got the cylinder head off in the end... trying to knock out the broken glow plug but its not moving. I may be not hitting it hard enough but don't want to damage the head. Do i give up and buy a glow plug removal kit or just give it a big hit to try and to knock it out???? Any advice......

Ok, thank.... just trying to get the cylinder head bolts out now but not moving. Unsung a 600mm breaker bar put not budging.... as I have the engine out I am physically moving the engine trying to get these bolts out. Any ideas?

Hi, Quick question... do you need to use threadlock on the bolts holding down the cylinder head? Replacing the head gasket this morning.

Smile, should have asked the question first and would have left the glow plugs alone. Oh well... lesson learnt.

The day is not going that well :(... replacing my glow plugs and one snapped inside, the thread section came out but the rest was left inside the block. Do I need to take off the head to retrieve the broken end? Any pointer on the best head gasket to get if i need to take the block off? Last...

Thanks for the heads up, will use Loctite 270 around the outside of the seal to the flywheel housing and keep the inside face to the crankshaft dry.
