    mine are just ran up the side of the snorkel and shoved into the air intake at the top ;) with a few cable ties making sure they stay in place

    Yeah....that's why i did the south down style on my main one...more discreet as you say. Sorry...I also made my rear roof bars....have metal and a welder :cool:

    I went for the South down type on mine....just bought the wing mould and top and made the rest with steel pipes.....easy to do if you are handy with metal....looks just like the real version too....

    Every disco seems to be different, and also depends on how much metal has been cut out/removed when fitting the panels, as on mine both sides were different when it came to the front part. Just work with what you have in front of you and cut/weld accordingly is my rule

    I got some additional roof bars and modded them to fit behind the ones already in place so I could have a full length rack as and when I needed one without the extra height and weight of an expo rack that I used to have on..... Can remove the cross bars when not in use ;)

    nah, sorry mate, I just offered them up and cut away until they fitted.....only tip is to cut away less metal and work from there and not hack off too much in the first go!

    if you are handy with an angle grinder and welder to make up some brackets ;) Need to re-wire the setup with a couple of relays to work dipped separately from high beam too. Usual D1 maintenance :)

    265/75/16 Mud Terrains - steering lock is excellent - no rubbing and the bump stops are wound right in ;)

    I have the above -35 offset modular on mine, and they do the job well, and look good too - I think I prefer the modular to the alloy of the modded disco
