huh? How did a thread last posted in July suddenly pop up when I pushed the "new post" button? Even worse I did the Poll before I realised it was started in 2009!!!! Oh well for those who care I've GG A/T's 255/55/18 fitted and are proving better than I'd thought they would on the road.

Our Boz use to go to work with my wife. He was designated the office shredder. Funny the company waste management went to pot and everybody was bringing in shredding stuff just so they could see and hear a ruffty tuffty Staffie getting cross with a ball of paper. well he was only two months old.

To buy or bot to buy..P38 is the question!

Don't get coined like I did!!!!!! I thought it was a good one but it's had some major issues. I've got it where I want it but's it cost me a grand on top of the purchase price. Some of that was me being fussy and some was preventive maintenance still it hurts when you've just purchased it.

Car won't start and its not due to lost sync

I'd start with the engine earths, Take the negative lead off a set of jump leads and connect to a good earth on the engine and other end to the negative of the battery. See if she'll crank over.

Hi Colin, I'm interested in buying the mount you now do. However I'm finding the postage costs a bit hard to swallow. Is they're anyway to get a mount to Blighty cheaper but still guarantee it will arrive?

As you've given up for the night the last job you should be doing is spraying some release penetrate stuff goo on it before you go in for tea.

    Acf 50

Won't hurt to degrease first and then get hot and steamy if you have those facilities but I do it by degreasing then just jet washing

    Acf 50

I use it on my bike, It's a good product best to place it in a bucket of warm water before use. Does need reapplying to keep up and it's best on clean surfaces so maybe a good steam clean of the area first then let it dry. It does leave surfaces a little slippery and keep well away from brakes etc.

    Fancy doing some "soft" offroading

I fancy going to play in the mud with the P38 but in all honesty I haven't a clue. I can't go to nuts, what I play with at the weekend has to work on Monday. Basically it's a stock car with some General grabbers fitted to the 18" rims. The car is a working car and not a Chelsea tractor so I'm...

    Transmission Whine

I think they all have a little tranny whine, well the ones I've driven have maybe that's why they were for sale. If you are concerned at all then I'd start with changing all the fluids including the gearbag. Mine was noticeably smoother after doing that. Don't forget the grease nipples on the prop.
