P38A Is it time to jump to LPG ? (4.6l Gems)

There could also be a problem with servicing, some garages won't touch it if it has LPG, sommat to do with the fuel lines etc

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Having done the drive to and from Newcastle airport, we had to pick up our dog from my daughter in Bicester, in view of the petrol prices, I was amazed at people doing over 70 in some cases, it would seem that the price is not as much of a problem that as been reported, no, it wasn't in the RR...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I bit the bullet and took her to Newcastle Airport has my holiday was way overdue, 115 miles, it was great. Fly to Malta with Jet2 apart from the covid requirements and associated paperwork all was good. 14 days later, back to the car, a bit dusty, sat for that time, fired up, lovely drive home...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I went for a leisurely drive, which I haven't done in over 4 weeks, for various reasons, it was really good, I appreciated it even more I think, whilst watching the fuel gauge going to the left.

L322 Finally, got the car back

Yes, it cost me a bit, well quite a bit, to date, after I totted up all the receipts, I was astonished to realise it came to £6467 in 2 years, it might be a lot, most of it was worn out components. Some of which were the original equipment at manufacture, like the air struts etc, she runs great...

L322 Finally, got the car back

I thought what has the petrol tank got to do with it, they didn't want to do it, so went overboard to make sure I didn't go for it.

L322 Finally, got the car back

Hello to everyone, after 2 weeks, well, no in fact 4 weeks, it all started with the failed MOT extensive welding on the rear wheel arches at an eye watering £1468. The guy did a really good job and even painted the finished arches. The said garage removed the side steps as they were corroded...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

Well, it is the shop again, hopefully for the last time for quite a while I hope, after all the rear arches were done and the side steps being removed, she is back in to have the side steps re-installed ( not by the same garage ) so in a couple of days we should be back on the road hooray.

    L322 Range Rover 2003- Diesel-Auto-Air Suspension Advice!

I have a 2003 petrol and an Autel reader which works, it can't re-calibrate the suspension, but it does tell you what the height of each one is. Reads most of the codes and clears them too

    L322 BMW M62 Engine

One litre of oil or in my case 8, is far cheaper than a major overhaul

Rebuilt, how much did that cost, in terms of parts and labour?

    L322 BMW M62 Engine

My car is a BMW car manufactured in 2003, these engines have a bad reputation for timing chain guides to disintegrate, resulting in a lump of metal that can only be recycled. The reason being the timing chain guides are well, plastic. All is not lost, depending on how the car has been looked...

    L322 This is a first

Hi backinblack, good piccys, at least I know now what I am looking at, but I think it will be on the back burner for now, has it only has slight play. Thank you for input, well appreciated by myself.

    L322 This is a first

Good point, I need to know if the garage has this facility first, I have been aware that it might be easier to change the whole "cage" which would include said bushes.
