Hi mate, Are your lights HID's? I had the same fault on mine and it turned out to be the Ballasts. These are accessed by removing the headlight and turning it over, very easy to replace, bit on the pricey side!

My transfer box has the required internals, just wondering if a 300TDI linkage and shifter is what i need to be able to lock/unlock the diff or is it the more expensive TD5 variant IE are they different? Cheers

You got a picture of your interior? I have a 2000 freelander I was breaking, about to throw the interor away, if its the same il send you the squab for the postage if it helps, its clean but it was a smokers car before so could do with a freshen up.

Get onto ebay and buy a mechanics stethoscope, get the car up off the ground and have a lusten, mine saved me a fortune as I was told by agarage the diff was bugfered on my freelander 2, turned out it was just a drive shaft bearing

I also have an orange one, hardly see anotger but when you do you usually get a wave. Good to stand out.
