    One time i had a car that was in the red on the analyzer ,the exhaust prob:rolleyes: was only half way in ,When the mot guy noticed ,well i noticed n pointed it out ,and the prob was pushed in all the way:eek: ,and it was perfect......If its not in properly it gets to much air up the tailpipe:D:D

    Also the front of the crank is attached to the rest of the crank at the first front big end journal and theres not much metal attaching it,,,,SNAP :eek:

    You could unplug the maf .it might run better or worse on preset values ,if it flags up a fault ,at least the car knows it been disconnected :rolleyes:...

    I was offered a mark 3 with a mot fail ,,wiper blade and a front sub,frame ,,,He cant get any one to fit a sub frame,he said ebay had them for about £250:rolleyes: ,thats a front not a rear ,but no one wants the jobo_O .not me ether.. :oops::D

    Doo@ ,Whos not been on for a while had a similar prob ,,He stripped all the wiring to the maf ,played wi cats and the like :eek: think he even changed the crank sensor ,coils leads ,,,,Turned out to be head gasket between two cylinders ,last i seen him was going to do a full nut n bolt...

    Yea lead in 4star ,stopped engine knock,pinkering ,ran cooler and lubricated valves so they didn't burn away ,..Remember seeing a program about the grass n vegetation at the side of motorways was toxic with lead ,before the introduction of unleaded fuel never mind what wee were all breathing...

    Na every thing is well lubed :rolleyes:..the disk had shiny bits where the pad was touching , rubbing but part of the braking surface had disintegrated,but only on inside. the piston side ,I felt it like a warped disk week or two ago and though like you"s sticking slider ,had a look under wi...

    Bent push rods would stop valves working right,seen it in over revved motors,,take rocker covers off n see whats moving ....,if its moving,,;) O are the ht leads on the right plugs ,just a thought....

    Today i replaced the rear pads n disks ,:mad:,they were new march 2020 ,delph from island 4x4,the pads were still like new ,and one disk was ok ,but the drivers side was rusted beyond belief no braking surface on the inside :eek: , but to be fair 3 years for half the price i just paid to...

    P38A Coolant Leak

    Check along the top radiator for hairline cracks more so to the right side top from the front ,and the expansion bottle , Mine had very fine cracks n it sweated coolant ,,on yours,if its the v8 also the manifold coolant pipes , throttle body pipes :eek: ;)..

    E10 is suppose to rot rubber fuel lines on older vehicles and diagrams in carbs ,mate o mine had a volvo n he said it coiffed n spluttered when cold and wast much better when hot,, but it ran perfect on decent stuff ...o and E10 it corrosive to some metals :eek: ..

    Iv noticed that forecourt diesel is lumpy on startup but ,when im towing i put more expensive ,and once a month or so better diesel in especially in the winter ,..The start up seems quieter an smoother at all temperatures ,,,I know people say theirs no difference but i have noticed it in...

    Old lights are better for the eyes ,apparently led lighting makes a spectrum band of light that kills cells at the back of the eye,street lights cars even in offices AND mobile phones o_O....

    Its easy to remove the vacuum pipes that activate the egr valve ,If they are disconnected its a fail cause the anti pollution system wont work ;)

    If its got stop start i think the tax is cheaper ,(year dependent) not sure,, but might be aloud in lez zones as well ,...
