I didn't touch the remotes I left one in the ignition all day since moving it in the morning and they both worked perfectly since I replaced the battery in them about 6 months ago. Maybe it's a problem with the becm then?

you can use the 2 special studs from your truck cab and you will need two more of them for the back corners or you can improvise with washers, the rest are normal nuts and bolts
