I might look a right numpty here (as I am REALLY not handy with mechanics) but had this problem once with a Disco 200tdi. Is there a fuel shut off solenoid on it? It was this that failed with mine. Good luck. Rich.

Bonsoir Flossie. Me too. Arrived here 11 years ago about the level of Del Boy "bonnet de douche" etc. Thankfully I am now fluent, but sadly have trouble searching the grey matter for the English words sometimes!! French have a lovely saying; "you speak French like a Spanish cow!".....

Discodevon, thanks for your input. Do I just remove the MAF sensor, and leave the two "ends" (where the sensor was) uncoupled, or do I have to recoup le the ends prior to trial? Cheers Rich
