So I had the 3 amigos again, this time it wasn't just a sensor but the abs pump, so got that sent of for testing and rebuild, but its a write of so I now need to modify a disco one or buy a brand new one for £1500 :( she's been of the road for 3 weeks and its making me depressed.

Managed to get the AA to get us home, called out at 1630, home at 0000, but the garage wasn't open that's why we had to take it ourself. Now for the expensive garage bill.

So I fitted the new injector loom today, there was oil leaking out of the rocker cover gasket so I replaced that. Went to start it and it started well, and it seemed ok when I went for a drive, raptor arrived in the post so I'm going to attempt to spray the checker tomorrow.

Apparently they let dust though, so the bores get damaged, and also the oil on the filter gets on to the maf sensor causing problems.

Because I'm a mug and didnt want to spend £5 on postage I bought a k&n air filter to take my order total to £50 to get free postage. Now having looked on the net, it's seems that these air filters Bugger up you engine for no power gain. Sugar

So today I took off all of the checker plate, I'm going to give it a key then put on some etch primer then spray on the black upol raptor paint, should make it look much better: The paint underneath the plate is a way better condition than I thought it would be.
