Are you running Bilstein B6? Are they suitable for a 3" lift? Tbh i quite like the terrafirma adjustable ones they have been there for the past 7 years and have seen some heavy offroad but always looking for something better when i need to replace

they are polybushes so they are not the same. They will give a noticeably firmer feel.

So non starter issue kinda made it a priority so i got to work lol. After several attempts it started and seems happy now. Retested the mV at the fusebox and with the engine running it is now 17.4mV, which is still low. Voltage at the fuel pump is 13.5V

thanks ill do that later as its set up as an overlander with cabinets in the back so i will need to take out a few stuff lol. btw, now the f***er wont start, i suspect it is something to do with disconnecting the Fuel feed line and reconnecting it... but i had done that a couple of weeks ago...

Checked and its showing 14.4 mV. Could it be caused by corrosion in the fusebox itself maybe?

so in a previous post (here) i discussed where best to fit a fuel pressure sensor to a td5. now after i have it running i m noticed the pressure is way below the ideal 4bar. I have replaced the pressure sender (both quality SAAS senders connected with a T to the temperature temp port) and also...

may be fusebox corrosion, probably the one under the bonnet but could also be the internal one

i had tried a friend's icarsoft and it would only connect to the abs module. if you want to connect to the engine and bcu modules you need a nanocom

im sure i can get to the bottom of it, if i wanted by swapping things at the rear... but do i really want to? not really, just glad that it is sorted (for now!) so fingers crossed!

just confirmed that these are not what is included as standard with terrafirma shocks but are in fact an upgraded poly bush that can be fitted to them

no, my nanocom does not mix up the sensors. i had tested that by disconnecting one of them to make sure it throws the error on to the disconnected side.

another interesting thing is that when i only replaced the left side hub (which was the only one giving an error on nanocom) nothing changed. after i replaced the right one too it fixed the problem. I suspect bearings from different manufacturers give slightly different signals which might be...

The "old" ones were only a few months old when they started giving errors (britpart oem option). So i m guessing its the cheaper britpart design? Not sure , hopefully i remain 3 amigos free 🤣

Had radius arms britpart poly bushes and they were horrible in everyway so those are now banned haha
