I have a icarsoft car diagnostic tool LR V2.0 but can’t get it to work on my Land Rover discovery 2 TD5.
Can anyone help or give me any advise?
Hoping someone can help me out.

Hi, Don't forget the the TD5 is NOT OBD2 compliant, so if this tool just a generic OBD reader it won't work.
If you put your rough location in your profile, there may be someone near to help.

Yes, i can help: buy(or fin somebody with) a dedicated tool which means nanocom or hawkeye... all the rest(your Icarsoft included) are a kind of bad jokes when it comes to EMS...(my bad that i recommended Foxwell at a time then i realised it's unreliable for EMS) ...though Foxwell is the best for other systems e.g SLABS or autobox compared with other cheap tools).

i had tried a friend's icarsoft and it would only connect to the abs module. if you want to connect to the engine and bcu modules you need a nanocom

Hello

I bought an icarsoft to identify a three amigos fault, was the shuttle valve which I had to bypass. Fortunately I knew it would not work on othe modules.
I would send it back for a credit if you can, if you make a case with ebay they will probably back you providing the original ad did not outline its limitations.
You would get third party support on here for you case if needed.
