Insulates well - how well? If a metal plate sat 50mm above a 200w heater was sprayed in it, would it reduce the chances of the metal plate conducting the heat to the point of it being too hot to touch?

I had a D3 - took it to and around Morocco - performed perfectly and loved it - great bit of kit and would have a d4 in a heart beat. Very comfy, perform well, lots of accessories avaialble, air suspension delivers an impressive ride. You won't regret it! Only changed as i needed 5 seats...

I went from 2.25 petrol --> 200tdi --> 200di - the 200di works well, i like it, you don't need a turbo on a series for most things
