Clear as muck I know, but I think you can see by the blurring the front diff input is spinning with the prop

when going into park, the propshaft changes direction and does a real quick spinning before halting- whether that means anything

Weirdly when raised it didn't turn at all beyond the click for resistance check. It's 2005/6- last of the td6 model with a pretty makeover by ford. I'm wondering if, when raised, it engages the diff lock and that's what allowed it to move? If so I'm guessing I've buggered on of the drive...

Ok a weird update, I put it in off road to have a look with the boss in the driver's seat. In off road it went in reverse and set off/released the rear brakes with a bit of squeeling. Then went forward too. So we lowered it to normal ride height and then it was back to not doing anything with...

You'll find it easy with the laser spanner, it's offset so fits well from either side, and leaves loads of room for a normal 32mm to get on the larger nut

Well I got them out, spent a whole day belting a ball joint before it decided to free up and got the one side done. Only issue I've had was getting the wheel the right height for tightening the m14s. In the end I chucked the wheel on and nipped them up just to turn the car over as it was sat...

I got new bolts and nuts except for the big m14s- cheapest I found them was a fiver a bolt :eek: I'd rather spent the time cleaning them up!

Yeah my local tyre shop are good for getting me in (my l200 had bits going weekly so it lived there) so tracking and alignment will be done before it goes back to being my daily. The truck is why I'm doing the lot, I did one thing at a time and it was just a chain reaction lol- and as I know...
