Can't seem to find an ecu ERR7112, the engine originally had an egr but it was removed, could I use a non-egr engine ecu? Cheers, Gaz.

Didn't start with easystart so must be ecu i guess, there's no engine management light coming up on ignition either.

Ok so before I buy a new ecu and/or relay is there any way of confirming which one is shot, I've no idea how to test a relay, the ironic thing is that the glow relay probably was ok, the low voltage at the plugs was maybe because the battery was low because the rf receiver has been going...

Hi, whilst gaining access to the glow plug relay so that I could obtain the part number, the ecu touched the positive terminal of the battery, now the glow plug light doesn't come on at all, have I knackered the ecu or relay or both? Any help greatly appreciated.

+1 regarding the motor being seized, not saying its not the ecu, mine kept saying select neutral, unplugged the transfer box motor cleaned all the dust out of the connectors and tapped the motor with a mallet whilst my assistant shifted it across the h gate. No problems since.

Just to update the thread, my rf receiver is the second version so therefore I will need to replace it at some point in the future, the connections looked ok, didn't get chance to remove the c pillar trim to look at the aerial, does anyone know what it consists of? Cheers.

I needed to check whether its the updated version anyway so I'll replace it and see how it goes, where's the best place to get one do you reckon? Cheers

Seems to work better the nearer it is to the aerial, if its not the batteries I take it it could be the fob or the aerial? Cheers guys.

Ok, might have to take a look at this motor, the carpet isn't wet no, I bent the contacts up slightly in the fob so they should be ok, tried it again and no better.

Don't suppose you've still got the blanks where your putting the fog lights?

Hi, recently my key fob has become reluctant to lock and unlock the car, you have to either wave it around everywhere or hold almost against the car for it to work, the batteries are almost brand new so I'm a bit lost. Also, when you unlock from the fob, not with the key, the drivers door...

Still after these bits if anybody can help cheers.
