    Solved this issue by wedging a piece of card underneath the pointy bit of the switch that presses down on to printed circuit board underneath, all sorted.

    Legend, all cleared now many thanks, didn't work the first time then loosened the clamp a bit more and unplugged the alarm unit to see how many pins it had, plugged it bk in, put the clamp back on and all sorted.

    Hi, have looked through loads if threads but I cannot find out how to clear the 'alarm triggered' message, there's nothing wrong with the alarm just happened whilst reconnecting negative lead, cheers.

    Battery for p38 diesel

    Hi I'm after a battery for a p38 diesel, needs to be at least 750cca, it's just to get her through the mot and can't afford a new one just now, would need to be in the Cornwall / Devon area, any help greatly appreciated.

    Did this today and worked a treat, sealed them with some instant gasket and whipped some cable ties around the boots to make sure.

    Fixed broken heater wires in drivers seat, fed the leather and started to reassemble it. Female stopped play at that point :)

    Hi, so today I bridged the base supply connector so that the back heated up independent of any regulation and after a while it got hot, so I reckon your probably right in that the original thermostat is just not good enough, do you have any idea on where you can get the uprated ones? Mnay...

    Hi, the odd thing is that the seat base and back both have continuity but while the base feels hot without the leather on the back doesn't feel warm at all with the leather on. I'll have to bridge the base supply and see if the back works then to see if its a thermostat problem. Gaz.

    Hi, am I right in thinking that the heated seats should be recieving 12 volts, as mine are only getting around 6 and don't heat up enough to penetrate the leather, any help greatly appreciated, Gaz.
