    Insa Turbo Rangers - experience?

Thanks for all the replies, from what I gather there doesn’t seem to be anyone with a reason to not recommend re-moulds. Now to have a look into the hankook and toyo tyres mentioned & compare cost

    Insa Turbo Rangers - experience?

Hi all, I think this is one of my first posts outside the defender forum. I’ve got a 1990 LR 90 with a 300tdi conversion, which I got at the end of June and was my first LR. I’m looking for some new tyres and have heard insa turbo rangers have the exact same tread pattern as general grabber...

Land Rover 90 - Clutch gone slack

Sounds like a nightmare! I used a selection of bricks to hold the clutch down overnight for about a week, which pretty much set the pedal back to normal for a day or so. Eventually bit the bullet and took it to my garage and got it sorted because I needed my car badly and as I was thinking the...

Land Rover 90 - Clutch gone slack

Thanks for letting me know. I still haven't actually got round to sorting this out, as I've not had the time. I went with the suggestion of topping up the resevoir, and propping the clutch down overnight to let the air rise up and out. It seemed to work quite well, but definitely only a...

Land Rover 90 - Clutch gone slack

I can't for the life of me find my Haynes manual. Could someone please advise of the brake/clutch fluid needed for my 90, with disco 300tdi engine & lt77 box? Thanks.

Land Rover 90 - Clutch gone slack

Great, cheers. It'll probably be the weekend before I get round to sorting this, as I work till the evening and want to be able to get it done in a full day. If it's as straight forward as I'm hoping it is, you should get yours out the way! At first, I thought the spring on the clutch pedal had...

Land Rover 90 - Clutch gone slack

Apologies, I'm with you now. Don't let the reservoir run to empty in the filling process, cheers!

Land Rover 90 - Clutch gone slack

Great, thanks for the advice. Am I right in thinking make sure full at all times while filling is a typo, meaning full while bleeding or have i missed something? Just want to make sure I'm certain in what I'm doing, not trying to be pedantic.

Land Rover 90 - Clutch gone slack

I've watched the YouTube vids, the problem is the 90 being my daily driver, and me being a novice I'm afraid I'll go wrong and be left with no transport!

Land Rover 90 - Clutch gone slack

So after returning to my 90 at about 5 o'clock this evening and after reversing out the parking bay, I noticed oil on the ground where I'd been. I managed to drive home and check my clutch fluid level. I've read you're supposed to have them full to the brim, and it was low if this is the case...

Land Rover 90 - Clutch gone slack

That's great info, thanks a lot. Will start with checking fluid level after work & update when done so.

Land Rover 90 - Clutch gone slack

I have had a search on the forums but the only instance of this I could relate to was for a TD5 Disco. On Saturday morning I noticed the clutch in my 1990 LR 90 had gone completely slack down to the last inch or less of the pedal. It bites literally instantly as letting the clutch out...

Defender Bulkhead into Land Rover 90 - How much Alteration?

Yeah my bulkhead is pretty much completely shot. Foot wells are rusted through too.

Defender Bulkhead into Land Rover 90 - How much Alteration?

Thanks for the reply. That's what I'm trying to gauge, which year etc would be best swap for my 90 TD with 300tdi conversion. I'm guessing any bulkhead from a defender 300tdi would be the most obvious choice. They just seem quite hard to come by unless they're ridiculously priced or damaged.

Defender Bulkhead into Land Rover 90 - How much Alteration?

Might be worth mentioning that mine has a disco 300tdi conversion?

Defender Bulkhead into Land Rover 90 - How much Alteration?

What is the level of alteration needed to fit a Defender Bulkhead into my 1990 Land Rover 90 TD? Does this vary much dependent on the year of the defender that the bulkhead comes from? I've seen people saying it's not a massively hard job, but it's definitely not something I'd want to attempt...
