so rtc3429 are the wheel bearings i need

Can anyone tell me if the 110 defender fitted with the salisbury rear axle has the same wheel bearings as the front? mine has the salisbury axle on the rear is this standard for a 110? and are all the wheel bearings the same? cheers lee

No smake and its manual, and there is a little bit of oil in pipe from turbo but loads, was told this eas normal

what could be the cause any ideas?

Yeah runs ok starts ok revs out ok in neutral but floor it and its like a slug! i know its a big motor but surely it should move! its all been serviced too oils filters etc

What about aeals on the turbo? i did have a bad oil leak but it was coming from camshaft plastic end cap but not getting any drips on a piece of card overnight so can only pressume it burnt the oil?

Yes i have had someone rev the engine whilst i hold the hose squeezed in and after around 1800 revs i cant keep it squeezed in, have you any ideas?

Could it be the turbo? recently drove from yorkshire to norfolk and back and it had used oil! had to top up when i got back, about a litre, and as far as i can see its not got a leak,

Checked fuel pressure, tested flow rate, cleaned pump, reconditioned fpr + checked mesh that goes into head, cleaned map sensor, cleaned maf sensor, reading 54 on tickover. replaced injector loom and cleaned both ends of plug with electrical contact spray checked actuator is moving freely...

Its just guttless james especially under load towing etc, done everthing to it but still same

changed injector seals on my td5 today but hasnt made any difference to power, was told it would but nope,

I was told to do this by a guy who does re maps?? i know nowt about that side of things! i honestly had no idea you had to go for a run to establish faults,

Its not aa easy as just hitching my caravan up and towing it! as its in storage half hour away! plus the fact i dont have a nanocom so have to beg steal borrow one, and its not just when its towing its normal driving, it couldnt pull the skin off a rice pudding, doing injector seals this weekend...

Just an update on this, had my motor on a nanocom yesterday again and was told the maf was reading 53 and was told it should at least 60? is this per sec or per min?

Does anyone know if you can buy a cheaper slide hammer set to remove the injectors on td5's? i know this can be done with a crows foot bar apparently but i wanted to do it the correct way! is there a set you can buy? because there are a few sets on ebay for diesel injector remover kits but just...
