D3 , suspension to one side

Just out of curiosity has anyone recently worked on the vehicle? Maybe get some cleaner to clean up the sensor plug/ socket. Tomorrow try and recalibrate the settings on all four corners and see what then happens. I used a tape measure to ensure all the corners were the correct height. You're...

    Suspension fault on a d3

When the vehicle is switched on, from the passenger side rear of the vehicle ( just in front of the rear wheel arch ) do you hear the compressor running? I am already suspecting a dead compressor.

D3 , suspension to one side

I calibrated mine no issue with the AP200, I think your issue lies within the height sensors. Are there any fault codes read from the cars ECU that have been recorded when the suspension is playing up with it's traffic lights?

Discovery 5 Disco 5 with oil change done every 20k miles

As above, the 3.0L is prone to failure also, if you have good search around t'web you'll see in various forums that these engines are troublesome. Have a look at something else within budget from the LR big house.

Almost forgot, new Terrafirma pads on the front. The Brembo pads lasted two years exactly, the Brembo discs have loads of life left in them.

Disco 3 (LR3) Suspension: What have I done? FIXED

Updated: now resolved. The reservoir had electrically failed. I replaced it with a genuine LR item and it is now all functioning as should be. Whilst I was under there I had the opportunity to disconnect all electrical leads and pipework to see what the vehicle would do in various states of...

    Billing 2023

Didn't end up going this year due to work commitments, couldn't tell by social media posts whether it was busy or not as the last two years there. The weather didn't look to clever though ( overcast ) I am going to drag my tin tent over to the LROI show in September though as we have never...

Disco 3 (LR3) Suspension: What have I done? FIXED

No update as yet due to work commitments, D3 is driving around as normal albeit with an amber light at present. Does anyone know the thread pitch of the valve blocks as I am going to replace the voss connectors with push fit for a start off. After this I am going to completely take out the res...

Disco 3 (LR3) Suspension: What have I done? FIXED

Thanks, just to add car raises and lowers and has not dropped overnight. IMO no leaks, I have changed valves previous. First port of call I am going to disconnect the exhaust from the back of the compressor to see if that affects it in any way. I will also put inline compression fittings...

Disco 3 (LR3) Suspension: What have I done? FIXED

Looking more into the code this morning I am inclined to say I have probably not seated the connectors back onto the res valve properly and that it is a electrical issue. Thoughts?
