Thanks....I'm guessing from your first reply that what you meant by DI was direct injection. You refer to the 3.1 which is Isuzu and I know a couple of 3.1 powered landy's but the owners say poor fuel mileage of 22-23mpg.....The 2.8's seem to be the better all rounder and in some markets were...

+1^ Check the colour of the fluid. If it's black, then the seals have been digested by the the clutch fluid confirming the partial hydraulic failure.....

That's the problem. We can't get in. Tried EKA but does nothing. I have put the EKA into this car before with no problem so, as you say, either the BECM has shut down completely due to lying up with flat battery or their is insufficient power going to the locks to operate them.....Either way...

Yes, worth a try I suppose, although She said that a guy with a running tractor connected his battery to the Rangie last week and still no result. I think get the fob repaired before I try anything else. Thanks.
