It'll be about £40-50 for the front doors, and about £20 for the single rear door. Could be worth it still if the bidding doesn't pick up... :)

Apparently Britpart clutches are generally ok. Have heard some reports of rattly springs in the friction disc though. But... for the sake of doing the job properly first time around... fit an AP Driveline (used to be called Borg & Beck) clutch kit and forget about it. :)

Update When the ignition switch is turned to 'start', power is lost on the stop solenoid wire. I have a feeling this has something to do with the new ignition barrel and switch that I fitted recently...

Hi all -- back again! Just got round to fitting the new stop solenoid today, expecting it would sort the non starting issue. And surprise surprise, having the same issues! It will start and run perfectly with the plunger removed from the stop solenoid. However with the solenoid and...

Start simple... check tightness of the auxiliary drive belt. :p

Sounds about right... although I've no idea why it would be designed with a plastic top anyway. Accountants got hold of it probably! :(

Picked up various Britpart bits for my 300 Tdi 110 the other day, including a handbrake cable, speedo cable, clutch slave and some silicone hoses. Taking bets on which bit will fail first :D

EDC pumps look totally different to the manual Bosch EDC pumps. Yours will be a late-ish manual code 23L engine like mine.
