anyone know if the input shaft on a rangy p38 2.5 dse manual is the same as any of the disco/defender variants?? I hear on the vine the p38 has a different size but can't find one listed anywhere specific for it... tia

ill have a look towards the manifold, it not so long ago had a brand new turbo fitted so i assume the manifold has been off...although would this "blow" not be constant and irrelevant of load on the engine?

hmm wouldn't say this is the same as what i have, i saw this myself but start up and shut down its as quiet as a mouse and the crank inertia change would certainly make it audible, more so than at 2000 revs in my opinion.. Cheers didn't think I'd be the first to tackle this.. I'd rather find it all now than after an impact with an immobile object.. Thankfully the bulkhead seems fairly solid above the inner arch which all needs upgrading anyway.. pics would be of great interest

imafter a pair of new front fogs for the disco after finding out they were no longer watertight due to the plastic cracking.. I've just done the fl facelift on same year and I found that the fogs in that are Mondeo facelift @£35 for a pair (yes I know!!) so I recon that the d2 fl will be off...
