Thanks Nodge, I had thought to go that way. Ive bought a remote blipper and receiver of ebay for £12, so that should do the trick. I need to read up on the additional fan speed control. :)

Thanks Dave, I dont fancy rolling around on the floor in the current weather removing bumper and bits. If I can reach the external temperature sensor It will give me the ability to force the heater to run, if this doesn't work then I will strip it when the weather improves :)

Learned folks. My Webasto aux / parking/ Fuel burning heater has stopped working. Tried removing fuse 5 for 30 sec still not working. I want to bridge the front grill temperature sensor to 'force' it on. Is it possible to access the sensor without removing the bumper? Thanks folks

Its a strange one given that if the vacuum is there it would keep the pipe on so for me its pointing to a turbo issue building pressure somehow and popping the pipe off. I would bite the bullet and whip the turbo off and check the mechanism etc or buy a second hand one or reconditioned. I...

I have found 3 litres of Halfords EP 80W/90 GL-4 gear oil at the back of my workshop. Will it be ok for the rear diff on my F1 TD4 (2005) rear diff? Thanks

Good evening folks, I have acquired a 2005 F1 TD4 with 17" Grabber ATs on. What tyre pressure should I be inflating them to? Is it the standard 29 PSI as for road tyres? they are currently at 35 PSI. Thanks

Yes, I used the pressure washer method but used brake cleaner instead of oven cleaner. Despite my best efforts, i still managed to get the oily gunk everywhere !!

I put a tiny dab of standard grease on my injector washer to hold it in place.

I think thats a great idea. I used a plastic spatula to scrape off what i could see and used my workshop vac to suck it out. I will try this next time. I wish there was a cleaner way of clearing out the gunk from the inlet manifold itself !
