Am needing to replace rear abs sensor but after three hours trying to take old one out my mechanic gave up!! Any body got any tips on removing them please or is it just a case of brute force? Think my mechanic is worried that he could damage my brakes . :mad:

Never met him but he was obviously a well liked person who will be sorely missed, my condolences to his family and friends. RIP

Did a search but didn't. Get my answer, I have 3 lights on had a diagnostic done and it said rear abs sensor. My question is, after I have new sensor fitted will lights automatically go out or does anything else need doin? Thanx

Hi and welcome, I got my rain cover from eBay but it took a while to get one, and u should get when the weather not so good because they hike the price up loads in summer! Mine was £40ish but seen em go for £100+. Someone did say you can get them from car craft but not sure. Good luck in your search

I recently had 2 tyres changed at a 4x4 specialists and I had to tell them to put the new ones on the rear! He said he had never heard that they should go that way. Shocked me when this man has been working on mainly land rovers for nearly 30 yes!! And I only knew that they had to go that way...

I have cracks in expansion tank so thank u all that is another job on my list!!

Just checked coolant and some of it was sitting on top of tank . The cap was as tight as can go,do I need to worry? I did a lot of miles last wk and I only just checked it, it was just over minimum mark . Thank you

I would really appreciate something shiny and new to go on my land rover :)
