Have you checked the lift pump stop solenoid? When I got mine the leccy connection was just hanging in the crimp made a similar on and off issue till I noticed

What did that set you back? Wishing I'd brought a cheaper d2 if I'd known how much everyone on here knows about the issues I would have spent 2k on mine. Mint chassis and rebuilt engine though on plus side Mad when you see how cheap you can get them for though

Mine had a threaded both ends track rod. Rarther than the crimped td5 type. Thinking off 300? But not certain. When I swapped it for the mot I did the whole track rod assy as I wasn't sure if the ends would be compatable as it wasn't standard.

I'm sure you could fix it :D can you not swap for springs like on a disco? I don't know what they're worth when they're working? If worth fixing or not did you ever find out the starting issue?

Haha I recently changed mine as part of my mot said offside drag link worn. So canned drag link assy. Both joints and rod. Then took back he said wrong joint. He had meant track rod as you say so had to take back and swap that too. Did the fool apologise for his error? Nope tried to blame...

My disco r380 box had atf in was crunchy when cold. Fine when warm. Mtf94 is better in my experience

I'd go light grey if was doing again, can see any grime to wash off and someone on here did the axels in it and it looked really good

Oh you meant alter a defender chassis for disco 2 axles? Are the fixing much diffirent? I know one person who used a disco chassis for a defender 100" build and just made a custom rear body but he worked at nene overland I need a house with a bigger garden and garage for all these things :p...

What use the disco chassis? It's actually in really good condition underneath Would you be able to use the disco chassis and defender body though? Surely it would be hard to classify it since its basically two cars bolted together
