i know i have done, i just ended up with two tdci dashes cos one wasnt in good nick, not an old one, i used disco box to avoid heater cant stand autos!

i know i am the heater is mint, just the bulkhead and dash i got together the dash was rough so i got a newer plastic dash peice so got a dash going spare now. got the bulkhead cheap so was still worth buying seperate

haha welding is always crap on things like that! you dont need amazing welds anyway, 1 inch of weld should hold 1 ton you using an arc or gas? i keep meaning to get a gas set but havent had anything big enough to bother yet the lil arc welder i have is awesome too. looks like a toaster but...

Managed to get away without one or use generic one at work so far. Wont do the sls though. Yeah I figure it's not worth paying mechanics it never is! They're expensive to buy but it would be close to get it fixed at a garage. Plus you can sell/reuse Be better when 300 is fixed nothing...

What's the cheapest diagnostic tool that allows recalibration of the sls? Nanocom is really expensive! There's some readers for like 50 quid and hawkeye/lynx seem abit better price. Any advice? Cheers

No luck with the diagnostic at work then hah! Was a long shot anyway. All this new fandangled computer trickery! Glad I brought the 300 nothing to go wrong on that! I'll have to see if anyone has a reader near Notts then! There's a landy specialist down the road hopefully they won't want...

Really? I assumed it would do a tyre no problem since the bags must have a fair bit of pressure in! I'm hoping the reader at works garage will do it. I do like the system but it seems abit of a weak part. It could go with no warning kind of thing. I thought it was sensors, as it's not sagging either end. Is it okay to drive? Not sure whether to do sensors or sensors and bags. Or just springs. Gana need a nanocom either way to reset it I suppose

This is what I was thinking. If it doesn't make alot of diffirence, cos springs are sorted.. for like ever haha. The sls is good but the bags always make me abit paranoid on long journeys. Could use the compressor on my defender rebuild too ooooh. Never really have anyone in the back anyway...

As title suggests I came to drive the disco today and the sls was fully raised and didn't want to start. Got it started tried going to 30 to see if auto dropped height no luck tried going off road mode just beeped didn' change height. Am I right in suspecting sensors? No sag on either side both...
